Shopify Developer

We're hiring a Shopify developer to build and improve stores for UAE brands: new builds, custom themes, migrations and speed work. You'll work closely with our SEO team, so the stores you build are fast and ready to rank from launch.

What you'll do

• Build and customise Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes in Liquid, from designs or from existing themes such as Dawn.
• Migrate stores from WooCommerce and Magento to Shopify, including products, customers, orders and redirects.
• Set up apps, payment gateways and shipping for UAE stores.
• Improve store speed and Core Web Vitals, and keep theme code clean and documented.
• Work with the SEO team on product schema, collection structure and page templates.
• Support live client stores after launch and fix issues quickly.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 4 years building Shopify stores, with live stores you can show us.
• Strong Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Online Store 2.0 sections, metafields and theme app extensions.
• Comfortable with the Shopify CLI, Git and building from Figma designs.
• An understanding of how theme choices affect speed and SEO.

Nice to have

• Hydrogen or headless Shopify experience.
• Shopify app development or Shopify Functions.
• Experience with Arabic and right-to-left storefronts.
