Website Maintenance & Care Plans

Every site we build ships with a 30-day post-launch support window, but a website needs ongoing attention long after that: security updates, plugin and package updates, backups, uptime checks, and the small content or fix requests that come up as a business changes. A care plan covers that ongoing work so a site does not quietly go stale until something breaks.

What is included depends on the platform and how the site was built. For a WordPress or WooCommerce site that typically means core, theme, and plugin updates, malware scanning, and regular backups. For a Laravel or Filament site it means dependency and security patching, server monitoring, and backups of both the application and the database. In both cases we also handle the small requests that do not justify a full project: a new team photo, an updated price list, a broken form.

We do not publish a flat monthly price for care plans because the right level of cover depends on the platform, the size of the site, and how much ongoing change the business expects. We quote each plan after looking at the actual site rather than applying one number to every client.

If something breaks between check-ins, uptime monitoring flags it and we treat it as a priority fix rather than something that waits for the next scheduled update. The goal is that a client only thinks about their website when they want to, not when it has gone down.
