Website Redesign

A faster, better-looking site that keeps the rankings the old one earned.

A redesign should make a site faster and easier to use without losing the search rankings it has already earned, and that second part is where most redesigns go wrong. Google indexes URLs, and if a redesign changes those URLs without a plan, the rankings, links, and traffic attached to the old pages disappear along with them.

Before we touch the design, we crawl the existing site and map every URL that gets organic traffic, backlinks, or rankings. That becomes a 301 redirect map: a documented list of every old URL and where it points once the new site goes live, checked and tested before launch rather than patched afterwards. Titles, meta descriptions, and heading structure are carried across or deliberately improved, never dropped by accident because a page got rebuilt.

Alongside the technical side, a redesign is also a chance to fix what was never working: confusing navigation, an outdated design, slow load times, or a site that was never built with mobile visitors in mind. We treat the visual refresh and the technical migration as one project, not two, since a new site that loses its search visibility in the process has not actually solved the client's problem.

Redesigns are scoped like any other website project, based on the number of pages and how much content needs to be rebuilt rather than just re-skinned. If your current site is performing well in search, we will usually recommend a phased rollout so we can confirm rankings hold before fully retiring the old site.
